For years, people who menstruate have had to endure cultural and economical outlash in terms of the menstruation cycle and who can receive menstrual products. From a cultural standpoint, the menstrual cycle is shunned and viewed as disgusting, whereas in economics, those in poor communities are unable to receive menstrual products due to contributing factors, including but not limited to lack of money.
